Catherine married Frank George OWEN, son of William OWEN and Matilda CLARK, on 28 Mar 1919 in Oxford Registry Office.¹ (Frank George OWEN was born in 1855 in St Georges, Hanover Sq, Pimlico, Middlesex, London ⁷ and died on 27 Jan 1928 in 14 Church Street, St Aldate, Oxford, Oxfordshire ^{8 9}.)

  Marriage Notes:

The 1901 Census shows, Alice Breakspear living with Frank George Owen as his wife. All children (except for the 3rd Matilda and 4th Alice) registered with the surname of Breakspear. Birth certificate for Frederick has no name for the father, but Alice Breakspear as the Mother. Birth certificates for Frank William Owen Breakspear and Phyllis Emily Owen Breakspear has the Breakspear crossed out (not officially?). All subsequently dropped Breakspear, useing Owen as their surname instead. Eventually married in 1919, after the Death of Frank Georges first wife Ada.
